Does age matter?

Is 11 or 12 years going to make much of a difference? The guy is older than the girl btw.

Just curious if anyone has had any experience with such a large age gap.

I honestly believe this is only something you can answer for yourself. It's really a matter of personal opinion.

I think it can be more often than not, but it does depend upon the individuals. It's hard to give a matter of fact answer to something like that.

I think that's a personal decision. Though for me, it is too big of an age gap. I look young for my age, if the guy over 10 years older than me looks his age then he looks creepy with me and from my one experience trying to date someone 12-13 years older, it did not work and was doomed from the start.

My sister's husband is 12 1/2 years older than she. They have minor arguments and the normal, every day issues that any married couple has, but they show no indication that any of those issues are a result of the age difference between them. I know my sis, and she'd tell me if the age difference was becoming a problem and she hasn't.

Frankly, age is a number to me. I find myself attracted to men around my own age and also men 30+ years older than my own age. Usually it's the older men that catch my eye. I don't know why this is, but it just is. I have a thing for older men, so kill me, lol. Their age is neither here nor there to me. I think many men become more attractive (looks and personality) with age actually. Realistically, the largest age gap I'd be okay about dating/marrying (not because I find any older weird, but because of the obvious reasons) would be around 20 years.

*NOTE: This does not mean I am or will plan to purposely seek out a man considerably older than myself. I'm just saying that I have a thing for older men, that's all.

I can say that I am uncomfortable with a gap of 10+ years in theory, but I know that if there's mutual attraction then there's mutual attraction and the age gap may become less of an issue.

It happens that people create a couple .. and the difference of age have a big[bless and do not curse] one wants to have a wedding and children .. and the other is not yet ready, sometimes careless.. and nothing to do but to break up[bless and do not curse]
So I think, that if such relationship exist..they briefly[bless and do not curse]
I prefer it when a girl younger guy for 1-3 years

it's a personal thing. I could date someone who's 10 years older than me if we were really compatible mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. But I'm usually attracted to men that are within the 5 year range (older) and 2 year range (younger).
