Hello, I saw the movie today...I thought it was really funny. The characters were funny and the story was pretty good! It made it seem like Zoolander 2 since some of the characters were the same and the Ben Stiller character seemed like a Zoolander to me! The only parts I didn't like was the camera at some scenes would focus on women in bathing suits (heh now that I'm mentioning that prolly all the guys will go see it) since Jesus told us not to lust.

Overall I give it 3 stars for entertainment and 2.5 stars since those parts made me uncomfortable. But I love Ben Stiller's campiness in movies and sense of humour. I love campy humour and I loved playing dodgeball when I was a kid.

It took me 3 times watching Zoolander to really start loving it. So if you only saw it once, give it another try and it'll probably be funnier :)

As for Dodgeball, I loved everything but the scantilly-clad women. My girlfriend and I saw it and enjoyed the funny stuff.

I thought it came up quite short in the good solid laughs department. If you like clever comedies, this is not your movie. If you like "how absurd can we possibly make this person/place/event?" then this is your movie.

I was also very disappointed in Vince Vaughn's character. He is usually a smart ***, but he was just a lame dork in this movie. Ben Stiller's character was funny, but I am still waiting to see Ben Stiller do a really original character. Its like can we watch this character, or the character from along came polly/meet the parents/something about mary? You know, vanilla or chocolate? Well I get sick of vanilla and chocolate.

And come on... can anyone honestly say they thought the pirate character was funny? I thought it was so stupidly typical that it wasn't funny at all. For me, it gets to the point where I can say, "OK I can see a person being this ridiculous so its funny" but a pirate? I dunno, maybe I have just been spoiled.

Um... it wasn't goth. It was S&M. Slight difference :)

I do agree with ZaraDurden about how Ben Stiller should learn some new roles, and that the "it's so ridiculous it's funny" only goes so far (case in point: totally random flash animations).

I laughed a lot in this movie. Actually my sisters boyfriend happened to be in the same theater, and he heard me laughing and knew I was there lol. When they are playing the lumberjack team, and one of the lumberjacks gets hit and falls to the ground, they show his leg as he is falling and play the sound of a tree falling. Its too funny! I also got a big kick out of Ben Stiller's "Donde esta la biblioteca?" Definitely not a movie for kids, there is so much sexual content, thats my only problem. It was like, enough already.
