First it says go to physicians because God made them etc etc, then it says he who sins falls into the care of a physician, as if God is not going to heal you, but now as a curse you must have some incompetent ( and believe me they are incompetent) physician. As if some sort of punishment for sinning.
as if saying ''instead of a miraculous cure, you must have this physician give you meds with horrible side effects, and slice you open, etc etc.

You should do what the doctor told you, imo. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that my sons or husband did the same thing if the doctor told them it would ease their pain and discomfort.

I just got a mental picture of you telling your sons to touch on doctors orders...

No where in the bible does it directly address the actual act of masturbation. However it does address the mindset or the lustful thoughts (Matthew 5:28-29) that tempt us to engage in sexual acts that we should have no part of. In this case your body needs are important and your mindset behind the act are for your health, not towards lust or sexual sin of any sort so because it's purely medical I most definitely say it's not a sin. Your purely taking care of your body! Hope that helps!

you must seek the right physician not all are good and honest. Also they may be good at one point take the good and leave what is bad against scripture

I think you are mixing metaphors there.

“If a man has an emission of sperm, he shall bathe his whole body in water and be unclean until the evening. And every garment and every skin on which the sperm comes shall be washed with water and be unclean until the evening."

This includes sexual intercourse: "If a man lies with a woman and has an emission of sperm, both of them shall bathe themselves in water and be unclean until the evening."

And many other things as well.

If you are intending to live by the laws of Israel, be sure to remind your wife to bring two turtledoves and two pigeons to the priest the next time her period runs a little long.

Otherwise, let Jesus make you clean.
