In this post I would like to update my profile a little more, so who ever reads my posts will have a little more information of who I am and what I believe.
I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior when I was 15 years old. (61 years ago)
From that time on I have dedicated my life to His service. I have had my ups and downs but when I was down Jesus was there to show me that I was not alone.
He has taken me by the hand and He has guided me from the darkness into the light of His Holiness.
There were times when I was afraid and heavy laden, but Jesus was there, He put His arms around me and said," Come unto me and I will give you rest." I have many testimonies of how God has protected me through my years of service to Him. God willing I will post a few in the near future.
In my church (Presbyterian} I started as a Deacon and then became an Elder. I held just about every office in the church.
As an Elder I filled the pulpit when needed. I have preached in many, many different churches.
My messages began over 30 years ago. Every Sunday they appeared on the front of the bulletin. I believe that through my messages, maybe some one will come a little closer to God and His love for all mankind. I am a servant in the Kingdom of God. I will be guided by His Spirit.

Thank you for your kind words.

I have dedicated my life for this purpose, to bring His word to all who will accept it.
Sometimes I feel that I am not doing enough for God. I really get down
on myself. Then out of no where I receive a blessed reply like yours. Thank you

My messages will continue as the Lord feeds me. I will never quit!

Hi doc, you are not that much older than I am...but the value of hearing from saints who have "lived" life in Jesus is priceless to me. I never had one family member speak to me of Jesus as I grew up. There were believers scattered in around the extended family...but I never knew them.

I think we are all strengthened to be hearing from you.

I know exactly what you are talking about when you say," Nobody ever told me about Jesus." I'm sorry to say that we never had a Bible in the house.
To make a long story short, back in the 40's it was a very difficult time for the family. My Dad was one who never stayed home, and my Mother could not support us. There was five of us at that time. We were sent to the Childrens Home.
It was there I came to know Jesus, and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior.
I thank God for all that has happened to me since then. While there I became involved in the church.I became addicted to the Word of God. It has not stopped yet and never will.
As time goes by I will continue updating my profile. I would like to tell about my addiction to the Bible while driving over the road.
