P4I Quote;
(Not to mention Hezekiah's Tunnels which is the ultimate thrill for me!!!)

Me too!

That is my fondest memory from last October. I couldn't believe it was just "open" for anyone to go through. I followed a bunch of kids who had flashlights...it was just too awesome!

The fact remains:

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Galatians 6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Regads,

Answers to Questions:

Remind me again, how this is a negative quality?

Goes to concessions of G-d answer.

Interestingly, the temple continued for several decades after these passages were written... how does this then fit into your theology?

Goes to concessions of G-d answer.

As well, considering the Messiah taught how to properly give a sacrafice, and considering that the apostles continued making sacrafices... how does that fit into your 'no' vote?

Please supply your biblical evidnece for these claims of your.

curious,
Yafet.

JohnD,

Keep in mind, that even as the temple continued after the death of the Messiah the Apostles continued making sacrafices at the temple. How does this affect your view of the above quoted passages?

thanks,
Yafet.
See previous answers.

Also, if memory serves there was a kabbalist tradition was their not that the anual sacrifice of the high priest met with a scarlet cord when acceptible to HaShem and when not acceptible it remained its natural color. When did the temple sacrifice cease to be acceptible?

I never said such nonsense. I repeatedly till I am blue in the face stated Jeremiah 31:31-33 highlighting that it is the house of Israel and the house of Judah with whom the new covenant is made. That the Olive Tree in Roman 11:16-26 does not change and become a Christian tree. That Rav Shaul in 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 states categorically that Salvation / Yashar is according to the Hebrew scriptures. In John 4 Jesus said salvation is of the Jews. He's your Messiah! How can you concoct such drivel stating anything else about what I am saying?

You are wildly jumping to one false conclusion after another.
i agree with most everything you say, except this part. I cant agree cuz i dont understand what your saying. Im not jewish, am i not saved jesus being a gentile?

Take it easy.

JohnD,

returning to the subject at hand...

Might I ask which section of Mark 13 you were referring to earlier? I have posted the entire chapter if you need to see it (I believe it's on page 5 of this thread). That is one question I don't think was cleared up.

Also, I asked about the Apostles making sacrafices in the temple and how it affected your perspective on the matter... as well as the continuing existence of the temple after Y'shua's death/resurrection. To my knowledge, all you posted regarding this statement:
Also, if memory serves there was a kabbalist tradition was their not that the anual sacrifice of the high priest met with a scarlet cord when acceptible to HaShem and when not acceptible it remained its natural color.

As you may or may not know, the works of "Kabbalah" did not exist until the 13th century and subsequent centuries. The passage you are thinking of is a Talmudic source. I'll try to locate that later.

But still, how does this affect your theology in that Sha'ul continued making sacrafices at the temple, Y'shua taught how to properly do so, and the temple continued after the death of Y'shua?

shalom,
Yafet.

There is some debate in the end times, but i want to focus on the temple that has been destroyed. Do you want it rebuilt? And speaking of which, how is that coming along?
Yes and No. Yes b/c it means prophecies are being fulfilled, and Jesus will return. No, b/c it means prophecies are being fullfiled, and the 7-year tribulation will come.

Would the Muslims go out of existence first?

It seems as though that is the only way the Temple could ever be rebuilt.

It is too explosive an issue for the Muslims.
For it to happen would be the work of the hand of G-d - for sure...... however with all the digging and destruction they are doing, they may be bringing this upon themselves.... the physycal Temple mount integrity is more fragile all the time.....
Am Yisrael chai!
