Do you use Kitty Litter Liners?

I don't think my kitten likes her liner.

It makes my job a whole heap easier, but she rips it and it seems to just get in the way when she's trying to cover over her poop. I think I'm going to have to stop using them and just pour the litter straight into the box. Oh well.

Just wondering - do you use a litter liner for your pet? Do they seem to have a problem with it, or are they okay with it?

I don't use liners in the cat's box and my experience was the same as yours. My previous cat actually stopped using the box when I had the liners in the box, so I took it out. I didn't even try with my current cat when I got her.

I use it and my cat doesn't seem to really care. That doesn't mean much, I mean he can't even hit the litter box half of the time.

No, I don't use them. I'd just be afraid that she'd rip it.

I don't use them. I have a really big cat box and put two containers of litter in it. Electra rarely hits bottom, so to speak.

I recently started using liners for my cat, she is fine with them. I find it makes it easier when cleaning out her tray.

You can try using wood pellets for litter, either sold at feed stores as animal bedding or for wood stoves (make sure they have no additives) These are clean, turn to wet sawdust when they pee in it, they absorb wetness and smell very well. When you clean the box, it just dumps out, its light, no scraping, just dump and wipe with a paper towel, they dont track it around either.

No I don't use kitty liter but my two cats do and there is no liner in the boxs either.

I use liners and my kitties don't seem to mind it. It certainly makes cleaning the catbox easier

I have tried liners in my cats and my ferrets boxes and all they do is rip them to shreads.

No, I have tried using them once a long time ago & it didn't work for me. I use Swheat Cat litter which is scoopable & enviornmental friendly.

I did use them. My cat rips it when ever there is anything in her litter. I wish she didnt, but can you tell her that? No! lol.

heh, my cat can't even hit the box, with or without liners.

Side note - do any of your cat's backs ever ripple or jump?
