I'm just interested to know. Do you use a mouse to navigate with your PC or a trackball?

I call it a ball and socket but I know it's called something else, the term escapes me for now.

I much perfer a trackball as, in my humble opinion, it is alot easier to navigate. With a trackball you don't have to be moving your hand around while positioning the curser. All you have to do is move your finger. And it is alot easier to keep clean and maintain.

Logitech G4 corded Laser mouse.

I used to use a trackball, but I like the laser mouse better, more "reactive" than optical.
Hmmmm, maybe I should try this G4 out for myself?

Regular mouse. Was "forced" to use a trackball for 3 years because my wife loved it. It killed my thumb.

My friend who works on computers for a living has an interesting theory about trackballs. He feels that the intelligence of a person is inverse to the size of a persons trackball.

Apparently he doesn't like them. :)

At home, I use a Logitech optical wireless mouse. I never thought I'd care if my mouse was wireless, but it sure does unclutter my desktop to not have that wire running across the desk. Plus, you don't have to worry about the mouse cord getting hung up on something.

IMHO, trackballs are teh suck. :D

I use no mouse or trackball, and ONLY use a small Wacom tablet -- there is almost no wrist action so I can work much longer.

I used a detachable Fellowes touchpad for awhile, and when I found it would be difficult to replace, I bought the graphics tablet ahead of time and have used it since. I also use it for design, and find it's easier to cover a small range of drawing space than having a big expensive tablet.

Sounds like a commercial. But these devices are great.

^_^ ....funny

well...I use a mouse....but I've known folks who love their trackball and apparently it helps to be more productive....can see how this can be - since you don't spend time or effort actually moving your hand - also helps save space I suppose..

The only issue I have with a trackball - is the initial learning curve...(if only i would be more patient)....anyway..trackballs are great if you can get used to them....

I'll stick with my optical mouse for now tho.... :)

I hate trackballs. An old boss of mine had one on his computer, and I had to use it when I was fixing problems on his system. I hated it. :p

I use a cordless keyboard and optical mouse both at home and at my primary office. When I go to our corporate office, or if I'm travelling, I use a standard optical mouse.

I love the ball! :D

It was given to me and I didn't like it at all and Ididn't think I would ever get used to it . But it didn't take long and now I wouldn't have anything else! In fact I was upset when it broke and I had to look all over for awhile to find another one. Until then it was slow getting anything done on here. I couldn't get used to going back to the regular kind ^_^
