Do you guys think that demons ever miss God or Heaven???
I know that they are evil but at one point and time they did love God and Heaven.
It’s a good question and I wondered about that too. But I came to see that demons are not beings like people are beings. They are something else.
I think that sometimes people think that spiritual world is LIKE our world, but just more beautiful or in a different location. But it’s a completely different system or form of existence. Whatever images we see from the other realm (including pictures of demons) are symbols, but not real pictures. The images of the other world or beings in it that we see in visions are simply a symbolic representation of them.
If your negative emotion, which was out of your control, like pride or jealousy or bitterness, was making your life hell, wouldn’t you call it a “monster”? It doesn’t mean that it is. But it ACTS like we believe a monster would act. So we would call it symbolically “a monster”. Something about this idea is similar to what demons are.
Notice how sometimes people say: she was fighting her demons... (they would mean by this: she was fighting her negative emotions..or self)
Notice how sometimes people can’t tell whether it’s an attack of satan or just them fighting with themselves…
We fight ourselves..... Even Paul mentioned lot of times that we have a battle on the inside of us: flesh against the spirit....
What is "flesh fighting against the spirit"? Does anybody really understand that statement? Are there two “me” in each person? I don’t think anybody really understands this statement…except to say that we always fight against our negative emotions.
So, fighting our negative emotions and fighting demons or satan – how is it different? Is there a difference? These are the questions that need to be answered in order for a person to really understand this correctly.
The Bible says that God is love. Not just loving, but love itself. So Love is alive in the spirit realm? So if emotions are alive in the spirit realm, imagine how important it is for us to “give birth” only to positive emotions?
If God is Love, who would the adversary of God be? Perhaps the emotion of hate? We know that light is stronger then darkness. Why is Satan equaled with darkness and God with light? Why use such terms? Is it because those things are real and not just concepts in the spiritual realm?
We live in both realms: physical and spiritual. We are already with God in the spiritual realm. He is in us. Love is in us. So if we have love in us, we have God in us. If we have hate in us, we have God’s adversary in us. That’s probably why 1st John keeps saying that if you love God, but hate brother, you don’t know God. Because God is love. So you would have nothing to do with hate, if you knew love….. I am NOT saying that there is no God and that the emotion rules us. NO. I believe the opposite. I believe that LOVE is alive and is a BEING and is GOD, and not just a concept. This BEING lives in our heart. AKA: God lives in our heart. AKA: love lives in our heart. But all this true only in the spirit realm. So if God lives in our heart, that means loves lives in our heart and that means we can’t hate.
Somehow emotions are not just concepts… perhaps there are living energies…Dealing with them could make our life blissfull or like hell…
Overcoming them is so hard…overcoming evil with good is difficult… The negative emotions just sometimes fall on us like hordes from hell and suffocate our goodness and bring bitterness, discord, and bad results in our life…
The results of the Spirit are joy, peace, love…. Probably because God’s Spirit is somehow related to positive emotions.
Bitterness and envy are coming from the evil one. Probably because Satan is somehow related to negative emotions.
But the Bible also said that Jesus told people that they need to eat him. Seeing this physically is absurd. But perhaps Jesus is FOOD in the spirit realm, from a spiritual point of view? Our SPIRIT might be FEEDING on His Spirit? Christ IS a Spirit who fills everything with Himself (although many people picture Christ as a man, but although it’s ok to do, it’s not correct in reality)
My point is that we know so little of that realm and that we so incorrectly interpret many spiritual things as physical and of course, it draws a wrong picture of reality.
