I know friends in the church who got saved that way. But its because they actually got invited to listen. Now they are either part of the choir or conducting it and on fire for God. Look at God! Praise Him!

As far as I am concerned a big "NO" but, I'm not the one listening, if it came on the radio, I would turn it off, but, there are some who the beat would catch, and some the lyrics would reach, even if the didn't fully understand them or the thrust of the song.

This is what Paul had to say on this very subject, LISTEN!

As far as I am concerned a big "NO" but if this music is reaching the unsaved I cannot complain with it.

My point with the Paul quote was that he didn't care what was said or how it was said, as long as it WAS said.

I personally would never listen to it as a Christian.

After looking up the band and the meaning of their name, it is Christian, the lyrics of this song too have some scriptural basis. Reminds me of a little to an old Christian tune "What will you do when the party's over?

- "We gonna turn it out, 'till it gets too hot" = They're gonna keep playing until there may be a riot about to take place.

Thanks for the explanation, but to be honest, I just can't listen to the music, Like I have said, there is a place for this music, and I'm sure it fills the purpose for which it is intended.

Personally I think most gospel songs are too soft . Some Hard-rock Christian bands don't even use the word Jesus in thier whole albums once they just call themself Christian before of marketing purposes .
