CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I personally plan on getting their new CD.. I am a huge fan. But I will admit, some of their lyrics are pretty hard- especially in Addicted. But I just don't read too much into the words! Also Pierre is pretty easy to look at!!

its just that ive been plannin on gettin their new CD and then my bro's youth group did this thing where you have 2 look at the lifestiles of the band. if their lifestiles r ok, then itl b ok w/ God and now my bro wont let me get the CD

I've never seen anything about Simple Plan's off-stage lifestyle, to be honest. Having something too controversial would hurt their record sales. I mean, if they're not singing about anything bad (because, after all, it is the music people are buying, not the band), what does it matter?
While I'm not much of a fan, I think they're perfectly fine.

I am a big Simple Plan fan and believe that people should buy the new cd.I have heard there new song called Welcome to My Life.I haven`t heard a curse word in one of there songs.You can also get Scooby Doo 2`s soundtrack for I Don`t Want To Think About You.THEIR SONGS ARE AWESOME.I LOVE EVERY SONG THEY HAVE.I mostly listen to songs that are on the radio.I admit that I really don`t look on the lifestyles of the singers.I do that for celebrities.Gotta love Simple Plan and Linkin Park.You can find out more on the new cd on www.simpleplan.com. They even play Welcome to My Life on there.
