Do you talk out loud while you write?

I do, and it's a really dangerous habit, because I get to the office and start talking to myself...

Yes, I do. I like planning my stories out loud (which drives everyone nuts), and sometimes say out loud what I'm writing. And when I go back to revise, I almost always do that out loud, too. Nice to know I'm not the only one.

Actually to tell you the truth, I usally sing what I'm going to write, it come out better for me. So you can say that my poems are kind of like short songs.

I do sometimes talk out loud while I am either writing out that scene or sometimes it is a way to help stay into the book.

there's just something about hearing the sound of what your writing to fuel the writing-thought process. but i guess it's not the same for everyone.

sometimes i talk out loud when i'm trying to see if a sentence flows well...and sometimes i just think aloud.

I talk while I make stuff in my wood shop.

But I can't talk while I am writing. Two different paths of thinking.
I do write but can't listen and write either.

I only talk out loud if I am in deep concentration...or if I am trying to follow directions driving. For some reason I feel the need to repeat again and again the directions of where I am going. Like "turn left at the light, left at the light, left at THE LIGHT...AAAAHHHH....missed the turn"

Yes, I admit it. But only when I'm alone, with absolutely no one around. And I hum quite often too.
