Are you a real nurse?Hrrrmmmm...this makes me think...is snoring even considered normal? Or is it a sign of some underlying medical issue?
Are you a real nurse?

I'm not afraid of needles. But thank you for your consideration. You're too kind. It's especially for you...
Just curious...and what are your thoughts on people who snore? What's the funniest thing you did to stop the snoring?
Me, personally, I can't sleep when I hear someone snoring. I don't snore (based on what my friends, parents say). I'm just curious at how couples handle this, if you or your partner snores.

Do you drive a vehicle?Yes, I think what I'm trying to point out is it's difficult to tell if the snoring is a person's baseline, I mean, I can check his mental stats or O2saturations when he is awake, but even then the carbon dioxide levels could be out of wack. But for some, they snore, and it doesnt affect them. One time, I had a pt who was snoring loudly, an ICU nurse passed by his room, was worried, but throughout his stay he was fine, arterial blood gases okay, O2sats okay, but there was one instance with a pt who woke up and orientation was off, checked O2sats was okay 95% up, but upon blood gas drawn, CO2 levels sky rocketed, then MD placed pt on BiPap, levels eased down, eventually pt was back being alert oriented x3 to 4.

Hmmm. Weird. I didn't know they issued permits to adults. I thought for people 18+ it was either a license or not.Yes, i dont have my license yet though, but i have permit.

No worries. I used to donate blood and sell plasma. The phlebotomists loved my veins. I never had any problems except for when one young girl stuck me way too hard and I ended up spending my time on the draw in pain. How long have you been in practicing?

About 2 yrs now...that's good, i salute you for donating blood! *secretly wishes she could practice PIV insertion on your arm....
Wow. You're trooper for hanging in there. I would have a hard time going back and dealing with that. You're lucky. I'm constantly donating blood, and it's always a challenge to find my veins. My right arm's totally unusable, and my left has been the recipient of a couple of errant needle pokes that have resulted in bruises.
