The Greatest American Hero became a "ritual" in our house. hehe...

This'll make you feel old... The class of '04 has never seen a styrofoam container used to package the infamous "Egg McMuffin" or "BigMac"!

I can remember when ALL burger packages were styrofoam... bah!

Back in the day, school cafeteria spaghetti was some of the most disgusting stuff ever passed off as "food"!

Even worse.... the teachers in charge wouldn't let you leave for recess until you've eaten everything (or almost everything).

Nanoo Nanoo.....I think that's right.
Another hint was the rainbow suspenders.

I remember when it was cool to have a rainbow on the shirt, rainbow barrettes, rainbow stickers, or a rainbow bedspread. Now if we were to wear or have anything rainbow we'd be considered "gay":sigh:
At least that is the way it is in Australia.

yeh i remember nano nano, those were some funny shows.

I remember Happy Days, Dukes of Hazzards (yeeehawww-i love that show), and all the others.

God is Good.

This is like walking down memory lane...Let's see...
I remember Mighty Mouse was my favorite cartoon on school days, and my fave Saturday morning cartoon was Looney toons.
Does anyone remember the Dr. Demento radio show? It used to be on Sunday nights....
How about roller skates-the kind with the metal wheels?
What about the black and white superman shoes???

I remember jelly shoes & I wanted a cabbage patch kid soooo bad when I was in sixth grade, but my mom got me a punkin patch kid instead (they were the lower cost alternatives I think).
I remember Friday night videos, and I remember vinyl albums, my mom had a Beta VCR until they stopped making tapes for the, so then she bought a VHS.
I remember Now & Laters used to be .10, and Atomic Fireballs were .01.

aaahhhh, there are sooooo many memories...... :)

Mork and Mindy, Alf, Growing Pains, Dukes of Hazzard, Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley... ah, those were the days. I loved Saturday morning cartoons, too. They just don't make t.v. shows, cartoons or movies like they use to. Remember E.T. (no, not Entertainment Tonight!). How about the Flight of the Navigator? Anyone remember that movie? This is fun remembering growing up in the eighties. I can remember my favorite songs were Footloose, Wake Me Up (Before You Go Go) and I Love Rock N Roll. What about you?
