Does anyone remember that soda called "Jolt"? (It was touted as having twice the sugar and twice the caffeine as compared to other sodas).

Hey, I remember JOLT. It wasn't that long ago though. I drank one and they had to peel me off the ceiling. LOL.;)

But the sad thing is I remember ultraman, speed racer, captain kangaroo, Tab (althouh I did like Tab), I remember solid gold (my mother hated that show so I wasn't allowed to watch it),

But if you really want to "go back in time" Who remembers the Monkeys (and I'm not refering to the animal), they had a show on for a while.

Friday Night Videos...the NBC version of MTV shown after Letterman where he used to work at the network at the time.

I definitely remember that! My brother and I always watched it. We would get popcorn and stay up till midnight (that is when it started) :)

I looked up "Ultraman" online just to see it and I don't remember that one.
In case anyone else wants to see what it was about, here's a pretty nice link to it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultraman .

I do remember Speed Racer though!

Also, I remember the "Creature Double-Features" that would come on TV. Wow, those were great!!

YES! I do remember Ultra-Man!! Used to come on right after school when I was in the 2nd grade as I recall. I've only met one other person who remembers this show, and he was from Puerto Rico. ;) The "not so ultra" man would always be trapped under a collapsed building or something and not be able to reach the capsule to make him "Ultra." That's where the suspense came in!!
Oh, got any good Ultra-Man linx??

Yeh,not many remember those shows, but they really sparked my young imagination.

Knight4God - There are actually several of the Ultraman DVDs for sale on ebay. Just thought I would mention it, since I was browsing through ebay and typed it in - and there were quite a few.

I used to love the kids game show "Starcade"
As I love video games of the 80's(No not Nintendos nor Playstations, sorry if I offend any fans).
And that is where I got my first crush on game show host Geoff Edwards.
