• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Do you remember? (another nostalgia thread)

Us old fogies all had record players!:D
Ever spin your records backwards?

I don't know about that, but I do remember sometimes playing some of my 33.3 (long-play) records on the wrong speed.

Remember when having 64 crayons made you the envy of the class?
Oh yeah! I finally got one of those in 4th grade. At last, I had silver and gold crayons for all the times I wanted to color something metal! The sharpener on the box was bonus!

What were they?

They were plastic plates that had raised designs on them. They had different body sections in different clothes so you could mix and match. You put the parts together in a little holder thing and then laid a piece of paper over them and rubbed a crayon over it. Just like leaf rubbings. It was a girl thing so unless you had sisters you probably missed it.

I saw some Tab in the store the other day. Of course I did not buy it. Does anyone remember the T.V show "In Living Color?" Did anyone own a Pound Puppy?
I had a little mini Pound Puppy. I really wanted a regular sized one, but knew I was kinda old for that type of toy so didn't bother to ask Mom for one:). Can't remember how I got the little one.
