If you had studied it more thoroughly, you would see there are no contradiction. And a true contradiction is when there is NO OTHER POSSIBLE explanation for it. Now please go read some apologetics instead of believing everything atheistic you hear just because it agrees with you. DO not expect me to reply to you until at least several months have gone by. Maybe then you will have some non hateful and intellectual things to say. And it probably isn't a literal fiery pit, obviously someone has never heard of metaphors, symbolism, and things as such as that.

Well...I felt like I HAD to reply. I used to be an atheist. But then I realized atheism was illogical, and the only faith that had any evidence was Christianity. Look at the prophecies and you will see it was statistically IMPOSSIBLE for them to know it. Fire has a higher chance of freezing in place than them knowing the future.

I have to agree with Jack...there are many many many very intelligent men of science that are devout believers in Christianity. I think science is fascinating, I have always loved it, and I have never seen anything in it that disproves God or anything even close to that. I see science and the handiwork of God.

This isn't about you or how smart you are. This is a matter of reality vs. theory, and in many ways science is reality... though it may occasionally bend what is real and substitute theory for fact... Either way, keep your cool, then talk, cuz getting all angry over a post on an internet forum is not worth the time, and it also tends to fray your train of though... Trust me, I know. A few years ago I was pretty angry whenever I'd post. I looked like a fool. Maybe I still do, I don't know. But, hopefully you get my point.

You don't need to go into detail about who you are, just prove your points and call it good without getting defensive... It's only the internet, don't take it too personally. That's all I'm saying... I just hate to see people get all worked up over an obscure post on a forum, it's not worth the emotions.
I did read his post, and I do realize that he did swear a few times and call you a few names. It certainly was not a mature way for him to handle it. So, I can see why you said what you said, I'd of most likely done the same. But, it's useless to allow what he said to affect you negatively, that's all I'm saying. If you let his words get to your head, then you're letting him win.

Well in my opinion, Science can break, make, or have nothing to do with Religion. And it is ususually the latter.
And the idea of Hell seems flawed and completely unreasonable and unjust, but then again I'm not God so I don't know the details.

It is just. God doesn't send people to Hell, He is like a jailer, but He gives you the key to get out. It is up to you to take, and use the key.

Agreed. If he weren't just, he'd allow everyone into Heaven, no matter who they put their faith in. That's not the way G-d works. Sure, it's kind of out of our realm of what we can understand, but justice isn't what we define as "fair." we can get out of eternal damnation though, due to the Savior's sacrifice, without a doubt. You're totally right.
It can be confusing though, because we think that somehow G-d doesn't have the right to condemn people- or at least some people I have met think that- but in reality, who are we to say G-d doesn't have the right to do something? He made this place, all of it. He made us, all of us. We're, in all actuality, his property.
