notepad's horrible. i have to use notepad, but that's only because i have nothing else. i actually like frontpage because then you get to see what it looks like right away and you can see where your errors are quicker. i've never heard of then other thing you said.

I can get into the code w/ FP. but is is easier to get it graphically. Fix it on the fly.

If you're trying to write a script, FP just doesn't work... it doesn't support PHP... AND it keeps doubling font tags, doesn't know the little thing called a <div > tag... I find notepad to be faster.

It's an online community using MovableType for the main page & the daily Scripture sections, phpBB for the message boards, and hand coded html for everything else.

I hide it behind the .html extention, but the site makes heavy use of php, mostly as a way to include common files throughout the site so that I only have to edit one file when I want to add a new link to the sidebar.
