Do you listen to free internet radio?

I love love love free Internet radio!!! I have my desktop computer plugged into my desktop radio via a speaker 2.5 jack to RCAs into the tuner and it is the best!!!!

I use the free version of winamp here http://www.winamp.com/

Then I search for stations on shoutcast http://www.shoutcast.com/

I never listen to local radio. Why would I when there are thousands of mostly commercial free stations out there.

Right now I'm bouncing between thee stations http://www.shoutcast.com/directory/index.phtml?sgenre=&maxbitrate=999&numresult=25&s=praise+worship

If you put radioSchnell in the search field on shout cast you'll get a great station or just go here http://www.schnell.ca/radioSchnell/about.asp there you can read and listen to the station.

I am not a part of the winamp or shoutcast project. I just love great, free music. I tell everyone about this all the time.

I daily have www.allworship.com before I go out

My flat is in a cul-de-sac off a cul-de-sac & those in my block can't hear it, so I can have my speakers pointed to the open windows, front & back

Prevailing wind, off R Mersey, & acoustics of nearby buildings, mean folk in 3 directions can sit in their gardens listening to Christian music

& the kids playing have often been drawn to move nearer to hear it too

I'm looking forward to taking gospel & worship music into NW-UK beauty spots, as I do every year in the good weather

Praying that the Lord will move others to do that too, as folk often go to such spots with stuff on their mind & love the opportunity to come sit where they can hear uplifting music

I tend to be under the trees, in the cool & out of sight & folk always come near enough to hear well

This is great! I used to check out other stations (like kcrw and npr) but these are cool. btw here's a link to another station that has some cool interviews and stories behind the music. A friend of mine was talking about it in her blog...
It's pretty nifty, if only plays music that you like...
You type in an artist you enjoy listening to and it plays similar music styles and so far I've liked everything it's given me! Check it out! :-D
