Do you know any men that envy or resent the social status of the other gender?

Does anybody know some men that envy or resent the modern social status of women? In society, when a woman talks about a problem it is seen as a social issue and when men talk about their own problems from their point of view, it is an individual problem. The grass isn't greener and being a man isn't all that. The government sponsors welfare and social programs directly and indirectly for women, while men don't really get that type of support, and it's like we have to pay taxes on things that only favor 50% of the population. There is even an entire political campaign this current season based on a pet issue that is only pertinent to half of the population and that men are not allowed to have an opinion on.

I know this causes envy and resentment in a lot of men. I'm not saying that is entirely justified. But do you know men like that personally?

I don't envy women one bit because I've seen my wife give birth and their monthly cycles and how it affects them. I always tell my boys thank God I'm a male, women go through hell. When my mom went to work in 1976 I didn't think anything of it and if a woman's social status rises it's only weak-minded men who resent it. Maybe narcissistic males resent it but that's a mental illness. I wouldn't mind one bit if my wife became a CEO making six figures.

My only envy is talking with guys at work and some wives make more money than mine but it all has to do with profession.
