Well I don't care to celebrate events when it comes to my family (again outside of parents). Outside of that I am more open to evens. I probably should have made that distinction.

At the same time though I think events are not important as the every day moments. I don't celebrate my birthday, I celebrate every day that God let me wake up. I don't celebrate my anniversary with my fiance, I celebrate every day we are together. But now that I am getting married I will celebrate them again because I love my fiance and also I am much happier in life then I was. Granted it doesn't 100% change my view that overall the events are pointless.

This new years my parents went to someones house with a bunch of people. They had pizza and drinks. Watched some movies and so on. I didn't go. I'm sure I would have had fun but I'm not sure why people make a big deal over a new year. People overall tend to make big to dos about nothing. Superbowl, new years...etc.
