Do you have any children yet? How many? Boys and girls? Age?
I do not have any children yet and am hopeful one day I will.

I have 2 girls. Their mother was 7 years younger than me. I turned 30 shortly after the birth of the older girl. I was 32 when the younger girl was born.
I'm a single parent these days. Their mother died when the younger one was 6 months old.
I have CP as well and have also decided that I do not want any children. Plus, I am now nearly 30 and have not had a serious relationship. I do love dogs, also.No I don't have children. I probably will never. I have Cerebal Palsy and my husband is older then me. I do have a 8 year old black lab that is my baby
Excellent mentorship there. I logged 5 years in the Navy and they were selective when I enlisted. All of the services have only gotten more selective in the 7 years since I discharged. I don't think any of the services are currently enlisting people with a GED rather than a traditional high school diploma. Additionally, to crack the upper echelon of enlisted ranks it has become an unwritten rule that at least an Associate's degree is an educational expectation.Lately I've been riding my "nephew" to take school more seriously. His dad & I didn't and we've had relatively difficult adult lives full of hard work and money worries. He says he wants to join the military, his dad is against that, but I have had to explain to him that you can't just get bad grades and think that the military is going to be your meal ticket if you really want to make a career out of it.
