We got 2 right in the church!


Hooked up to a DVD machine and on them we play the I-Worship DVD's
with the words and everything on it. Very cool if you play guitar as bad as I do and your worship leader gets sick!

We have never had a TV in our home, either. It's not that I feel like it is so sinful as much as just useless. There are so many other things we can do that are much better for us. I really don't know when we'd find the time to watch it!

Good point. Many people, when they hear that my family and I don't watch TV, ask (sometimes in a shocked voice) "What ever do you do?" Which makes me naturally curious about two things: 1) how many hours do they have to spare for me to list what I do? and 2) what do they do? (Not meaning to imply anything about anyone here --I am mainly referring to several different self-proclaimed "TV addicts" I've met.)

I finally got one two years ago. For the previous five years I did not have one because my old one broke. I wish I could afford cable because I like cable news, EWTN and the cooking channel. I watch these at my parent's house. Most of cable is pretty worthless.

Yes, I have a TV. I don't think I'd want to live without it. I love to watch the History Channel, Weather Channel, National Geographic Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, the local news, our local channel, TBN (occasionally), and other things. I actually don't watch TV that much. Usually I just have the TV on while I'm messing around on the computer so that I can watch the TV while I'm chatting and stuff.

The channels that I usually watch are Mostly CNN. When i want regular tv its History, Discovery and TNT. I do enjoy EWTN from time to time, and TBN just sickens me for the most part.

I have a television set, but no cable. I found myself staring at MTV all the time. Imagine, paying $60/ month to get extended cable and only watching one or two channels. So, I had it disconnected. I still watch my DVD's. For the first seven months I had my apartment I didn't even have a TV set so I read alot and played my radio
