  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

So I see that some people in life have dreams that they want to achieve like becoming a Doctor or visiting the Himalayas, or ???

Do you have a dream? Are you working on your dream? Do you think it will become a reality someday? Why or why not?

Does your dream figure into God's plan for your life as you know it?

I don't have a big goal to accomplish as in build some personal kingdom.

My dream is to enjoy God's creation as long as I'm healthy, which I figure will be into my 80's. Alone the way, as I've said quite a few times here now, I plan to be a friend to as many people as I can and in the process share what God means to me.

Marriage
1. Trust in God for his will and timing
2.Work to become a marriage-ready man while tending to other things God wants me to
3. Pray for future wife
4. Have my eyes open and my heart open to God so I do not miss the one He sends
5. Pursue her in a Godley manner
. Yes slowly I am working on it. I believe it will be come true some day. I think it is part of God's plan.. I pray so

Dreams I have

1. Visit Australia. I've always wanted to go there, but I'm not sure why

2. Go on a roller coaster vacation, and by that I mean travel to say Cedar Point go to the amusement park, next day travel somewhere else, maybe a magic mountain somewhere, and so on. I'd also like to join a roller coaster club if I ever have funds to travel to these roller coasters

3. Do photography as my Hobby/Job. I love shooting babies and I would love to have a studio in my home and run a business out of there but I would want to do it for "extra" money and fun, not as a means to support myself.

4. Do more cruises. I loved the first and only one I went on and I hope to be able to do it again someday.

5. To be able to fulfill the destiny that God placed me on this earth for.

My dream now is to become a registered nurse. If all works out, I will be there by next summer. My fuzzy dream is figuring out what kind of nurse I want to be.

With that license, I would like to do some medical mission trips to Africa in particular.

I also have a dream of not being alone forever. I am not sure if that is likely to be come true. And that is okay, because some of my little dreams would more likely come true if I am not tied to someone else. There is freedom in being single. Mission trips would easier if I am not leaving someone behind when I go...though if I am honest, I'm kind of hoping to find a male nurse who would want to go with me. :)

Primarily, doctors don't own there own lives. They are on call and work for the patients.

Nursing is set up differently. We have a continuum of care that means any registered nurse can take over the care of the patient and continue the treatment started before them. That means when we are off-duty, we are off-duty. Nobody from work is going to call in the middle of a birthday party or a vacation. I know my patients will be cared for equally as competently by the RN who takes the shift after me as long as I documented my care properly. I can "let go" when I go home.

I also have reasonable respect for most doctors, but I am already a bit tired of cleaning up after them. In 3 days in the hospital, I had to twice retrieve bloody items out of the regular trash...record important fluid levels from items that were thrown away...dispose of the bloody objects properly...and document things that the doctors did and should have documented themselves (each care person should be documenting their own activities). I got chewed out multiple times because of things that the doctors did in my patient's rooms. And I get tired of watching doctors disregard hygiene precautions which put my patients and others at risk for hospital acquired infections.
