  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How come everyone seems to want a significant other? Ive never been on a date and never had a crush or anything like that or ever had a girlfriend. Never even kissed a girl before.

I dont really get the 'why' part behind all this. confuses me. Nothing wrong with going on dates or anything.... I just dont understand why people do it.

To clarify, I also think the that waiting the "right" amount of time before calling/making plans again is stupid. Something of the world, not of God. I was just being sarcastic because I was a little surprised to hear from him so soon. I wasn't serious at all and tried to downplay the joke with, ""he must like me" in case someone thought I was serious. I know better than to over think the "rules" of dating.


And awww, Red! I'll come back and let you know how it goes tomorrow.
