Well I thought it as 16 inches, but the tip of my thumb to middle finger is 6 inches, so that was about right with 12. Well I guess not for REALLY tall peopleI think that is a good approximation.I started looking for a tape measure for real. I wanted to know for sure, but alas no luck
Though I know some people are tied down like with college, so those distances are pretty big and understandable in those cases. Not everyone is looking to be uprooted from those college tie-downs, or shouldn't be.
LOL too true, too trueOh come on, forget college, the economy is bad anyway and the job market ridiculous, might as well learn how to live off the land now. Learn how to build tarp tents and cook roots and berries over an open fire. Problem solved. Love wins again.
Good questions, Supplanter.
LOL too true, too true
Love always wins.
Distance and money are nothing to God, but I am not God, nor am I rich. I would love to make it work, but... do you think praying about it might help? o______O
I have a big crush on a beautiful woman who lives like no distance away...I will do nothing about it though...grr!
There is a person I think is pretty amazing.......
...Huh. Yeah, I knew that's where I would have to start, but I don't know if I'd be smart enough to recognize an answer.Praying about it would absolutely help. God will direct you in what you should do. Of course, the first thing to pray about is whether or not this is the person God wants you to be with. You're right, none of us are God. You don't really have any power to make this situation work in your own strength, but God provides for us according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. Nothing is impossible with God, but we should submit to Him in each and every situation and seek Him about what He wants to happen.
It is all about seeking God first and then trusting that He will direct your path appropriately whether it be in love or career or schooling or anything. So, get to praying, beloved of God.
WHATSCREW YOUR COURAGE TO THE STICKING POST, MAN!
You can't let this opportunity pass you by. Better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. What's the worst that can happen? You just end up in the same state you are in now. And the best that can happen. . .she likes you back
You know I would. I love berriesNow, I'm off to find some berries, who wants to join me for supper?
...Huh. Yeah, I knew that's where I would have to start, but I don't know if I'd be smart enough to recognize an answer. But okay. =)
I know, I think she even does like me back, which is bizarre because she is awesome...I'm just no good at this sort of thing lol, I'm very useless at dating.
You know I would. I love berriesBlueberries are tah BEST! Raspberries are great too!
I'll save you some grapes, they grow well outside my door.
Have faith my friend. God will let you know. Pray for discernment.
Come now, don't be so self-deprecating, you are a beloved child of the Most High God. And dating isn't that complicated. Just be yourself and be straightforward. For example, "Hey, I think you're really great, let's go get dinner Friday night if you're free. Then we can work on my tarp tent I'm building in the backyard."
Ok, Forget that last part. But if it doesn't work, you can still be friends and it is beneficial for us to give of ourselves in that way to others. Don't focus on your insecurities, instead focus on loving that person the way Christ has loved you.
