Well, the person I noticed still hasn't take much notice of me...he knows I exist now, but I don't think there's any interest there. C'est la vie.

There may be many reasons not to admit it. I know of a bunch of people who are very shy, and even when the people they like admits they do, they still have a hard time with it.

Well most people who crush on someone at least act like they are. And there is no one like that. So no one is crushing. Trust me.

I completely agree. I applaud all you brave people who go public with your crushes (even knowing they may not crush back). I can not imagine being so brave. I am way too shy.

Yeah I’m pretty private myself… sometimes even to myself at times lol
I mean like even with gf’s in the past, I don’t usually kiss or hug in public. Maybe it’s just cautionary. I don’t like to think that people are saying like “Oh look what she does!” etc. Though that is beyond showing initial interest like here, a little bravery or foolishness (in a good way). Most here taken lightly and for fun. ut-oh, think I'm analyzing the soap opera thread

I'm a little sad. There's a girl in my class who I wanted to take home..after class tonight...but she said she wanted to ride her bike...and the weather was cold tonight....

I've taken her home before, but spring break starts tonight, and I thought I could drop her off one last time till classes resume again, and she said she wanted to ride...she said she needed the exercise...ouch...

she probably just didn't want to leave her bike at the school for the whole week or something

For me it's called "I know that they probably won't reciprocate so why not just get it out there in the open and get it over with as quickly as possible?".
