I have been crushing on this woman from my dreams for about 8-9 years now. She's the type that leaves a lot for some reason. Comes and goes when she wants or so it seems. I've tried to understand her, be compassionate, a good man about it all but I just can't yet. I've missed her ever since tho and I have been crushing on her still. I was making out with her, but I couldn't see her face. That's all we did, and that's the entire dream. Her face was blurry but she had long dark hair. She was the silent type. Didn't give me any inclination of her name, where is she from or anything. Didn't even tell me where I was when we were making out or how I got there. I had no clue. The very silent, mysterious type.

I have a lot of dreams about "being loved". That is, a man loves me, really and truly loves me, and it's anywhere between perplexing and blissful. The guys are never the same, they have various physical appearances, but the emotion is always the same. And it's never anything sexual; most of the time there's not even any physical contact going on, or it seems like we don't really know each other, like they suddenly see me or find me and it's like instant, fateful love. The stories usually progress over time through the dream, and the guy is just kinda always there, always appearing, waiting for me or following me, and I know that I'm just the entire focus of his mind and heart. I guess it's just part of being a woman; that's what we're made to desire.

you know what's odd, maybe male and females are just wired differently with their dreams, but when i'm single, i dream more, meaning just various of types of dreams. when i'm in a serious relationship, i normally never dream that much.

Man! I have the same problem. Ever since I changed anti-depressants, I've had more vivid crazy dreams and several have had to do with me being with a guy (nothing sexual....rated pg....only kissing).. I have no clue who he is. I don't *really* see his face. I just know that in the dream I am attracted to him and he has brown hair. lol

so yeah, I'm crushing on whoever was in last night's dream. he was pretty cool.

I think when we're not significantly involved in anyone, we have all kinds of 'crushes' til the next long-term relationship starts up again. Is this normal? Just wondering...

You know what.. I always have crushes on boys I first meet. It's like their initiation into my life. I rarely act on it, and it's over once I really start to get to know them. It sometimes bothers me, but at the same time I call it a "crush" because I don't know them well enough to actually determine if I really like them or not.

Well, even if it's not normal for anyone else, it's totally normal for me. Sometimes, like if you haven't met someone in a while, you can be in between crushes. I don't meet a lot of people, so I get to where I'm in between crushes quite a bit. Though, usually, I have about 2 or 3 crushes at a time.
I feel silly to admit it.
I don't know why.

Sometimes it's more fun in life to have crushes. Because we act so silly and are so weird. well, I think it's funny. unless it lasts too long, then I am in agony and hate it.
