How do you not have a crush on anyone? I find this difficult to do.

I think when we're not significantly involved in anyone, we have all kinds of 'crushes' til the next long-term relationship starts up again. Is this normal? Just wondering...

I think, most of the time, people tend to have an attraction to someone whether they think they do or not. Some will qualify it as simple admiration , some would pass it off as a crush.

I'm not sure if this is what you meant or not, but I have always believed that if a guy and a girl are good friends, typically one or both are attracted to the other on some level (could be anything that attracts them, not just looks).

Because it's not always romantic attraction - although it can feel that way sometimes. I had a major crush on a really close guy friend of mine years ago - but when we finally kissed, I didn't feel anything romantic towards him at all.

We’ll call it Agape. That’s what it is.
Some just shine more than others to me though; some are useful.
No Agapao yet though, but one day.

Bingo. Attraction and admiration aren't limited to a physical quality. That's just a bonus. I've had friends, that have been very close to me, where i find their personality, or way with kids, or a passion for music, or the general way they treat me... all of those things (and more) i've admired and i find those qualities attractive.

I would go so far as to say that a few good friends of mine, i've found myself crushing on. And even a couple of friends that i admire greatly, and i find them very beautiful, but i don't exactly have a "crush".

Hmm that was strange..., when I posted, it didn’t show the current right time/poster stamp in my subscriptions. It only showed back to #1008. But #1009 and #1010 didn’t show so it didn’t bump on my user cp list. Was thinking of running a “find all posts by” on myself to see if it was there, but was more concerned at the moment if the data base was going down again or something, I had a psalm to post for someone. Someone that could use a lot of prayer, actually.

Sometimes when I think of the word crush, I think of that stupid movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High. "Dude, that was my heaaaad!!!" lol too funny, stupid but funny. hah

Remember, beauty is subjective, Erin. There is nothing wrong with your physical appearance, but you might just not be what he considers attractive.

I still say he should have turned you down from the outset instead of leading you on.
