  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

And for goodness sake, men... DON'T spit in front of us ladies! :sick: If I have a crush on a guy and then I see him spit, I'd drop that crush faster than I would drop a burning pan after touching it!

Haha. I can tolerate quiet spitting. It's the full blown, hacking the mucous up type of spitting that makes me gawk like a disgusted poodle. Just ... no. Is there any real need to make such a horrendous noise then spit it all over the pavement? No. At least use a spittle container.

I have a crush on Portal, again. It's addictive.

My housemate does it all the time. Mostly in the shower. A lot. I didn't hear anyone hock loogies as much as when I moved in here.

Also, K and I are having dinner this Friday. She texted me and said she was excited. :clap:

Oh, that's the worst kind! I remember once this random guy spit one of those in front of me at school. Seeing that big, wet, gooey blotch on the floor was not the highlight of my day. *sudders*
