CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

So no one accuses me (even just in their head) of being part of a clique (I'm sorry but I really hate when that kind of thing gets thrown around), I have not repped anyone a name. Though I have offered to take a guess and confirm or deny.
ETA: And, again, it's not a crush, though some don't seem to believe me. I'm more noticing and appreciating, which could lead to a crush if I'm not careful.

K and I had dinner tonight. Oh mee gosh, it was so awesome. 
We had fun, and we were laughing it up. She even said..."You're a funny guy"...and I went 
on the inside.
Also I asked her if she could possibly make time on my birthday (the 29th) to hang out together. I said she didn't have to get me anything, I just wanted to spend time with her.

What just makes me happy is that I feel like there's some actual bonding going on. Not just like friends, but like...I don't know...
One other good thing was she offered me a hug when we first met. Before, it was mostly me offering hugs first, but tonight she made the first move. Yes, a hug is a hug, but still...

I had the most amazing, charming, lovely dream about meeting a guy and falling in love lastnight. And I really thought I was awake and it was really happening, and I was like FINALLY, this is finally happening to me! Then I woke up. And I was so mad. The first thing I said when I realized I was awake was "Figures..."
