Lets see I have been in two bands throughout my life, a third for a brief period of time for help. The first band I was in was called Fallout, or S.A. Fallout. We never really mad it far, but we gigged a lot and that was always cool, to play in front of a sell out crowd. We bascially were a Metallica cover band with a couple of originals. I played lead guitar and did back vocals. My second band was Apocalyptic Archangel, it only lasted a couple of months and nothing really got accomplished because of everybodies ego problems. I did some lead work with my bros band SNowyt. (www.snowyt.com) :p

I've been working on my solo stuff, but lack of time and a heavy ambition has lead to a brick wall....

Yo!

My first band was not Christian (me N the bass player were, but the other dude was LDS) anyway... we called ourselves Surround Sound. Cuz it's an awesome name and I made a sweet CGI logo and ya.. I played the drums... we got to jam out at a lot of big concerts and stuff, we were pretty happ'nen. Anyway, he went on his mission :( so pray for him

But right now we are actually in the middle of naming our Praise and Worship band hehehe, check this story:
we were gonna call ourselves "Blue Sky" Pretty sweet name, eh? We thought so too.. and you can see the Christian analogies related to it. But wanna know whats really funny? We came up with that name becuz we were havin a birthday party at youth group.. and when we ate our cake, we saw that our paper plates said "Blue Sky" and me N my friend (he plays bass) were like that would be a SWEET BAND NAME! Lol so that's how it stuck.
But now we came up with another one:
we call ourselves 'Mirrored'
I think it's a pretty tight name.... about us mirroring the image of Christ and reflecting that to the people around us and ya.. u get the jist
Aight, Praise God, blessings!

-Brandon

PS. DOh forgot to add.. I play the lead guitar now, and sometimes keyboard for certain songs and things.

Yeah. And as I'm from Belarus it's in Belarusian language. We write with kyrilic alphabet, but in latinic it'l be just like "Garezy". It means "the merry fellow" or "the fidget". We try to show that God gives us freedom and time to have fun alongside to time of fighting in our prayers, lives. We play some rough music like nu-metal. I'm vocalist and I write lyrics. Soon we'll have a web-site, and I'd post address here.

I am currently in a band called PUMP ACTION JACKSON. We play a couple of times a week in the Tulsa, OK area. We just started two months ago, so we are real happy with our progress. PAJ has a website in progress if you wanted to check it out. It is pumpactionjackson.com . The name came about by us just messing around. We thought it was funny, and they put it on all these flyers at OSU, so we just kept it. I do most of the vocals for the band. I don't play any instruments or anything, but I am trying to learn to play bass. Anyways
Pump Action Jackson Rocks!;)

Yea I got a band it's name is Untitled weird name I know! We came up with it one morning at a hotel after a night with no sleep and about 3 Red Bulls a piece! We actually started off as a secular band, but then we all started to get saved and it just went form there. I play drums and sometimes vocals, we really just switch around! I also am a song writter. Oh and we are slowly getting a website together!(and notice I said slowly, because we havent worked on it in about a month!!)

Praise the Lord,

I just started a band w/ sum of my friends from church. The name of the band is The Persecuted and it is because we r a typical christian band, persecuted by the world. I am the bassist and back-up singer. We're still a local band, but we're hoping to minister to others across the US. Pray 4 us :prayer:. God Bless.

We are called Firebrand. Our old praise n worship leader from back when we still had adults with us helped us pick it out. in Judges 15:5a says, "And when he had set the brands on fire, he let them go[.]"

We have been loosed with the ability and anointing given to us by God to go and set the youth of our area on FIRE for God!

Umm I play keyboard and sing as of now... later i'll prolly get to playin guitar too.

A couple friends and I founded a revolving-door group a couple years ago called the Acidophilus Collective (because yogurt is good for you). There are maybe 8 or 9 musicians in the "group" now, most are multi-instrumentalists. Within the collective group there are a number of permutations (each with their own names), different lineups that play different styles of music. It's a little strange, but it's fast and loose and we all have a good time. If someone wants to get a project together, they pick who they want to do it and it happens. No one has delusions of grandeur and there are no ego problems, we're just all having fun experimenting and improvising and just making music... I mostly play synthesizers, drums, loads of percussion, keyboards, and a bit of guitar, and occasionally play "switch doctor" with the mixing board and effects. We gig occasionally, record frequently (direct to minidisc), and feel no pressure or compulsion to go out and "make it"; such a pleasant change of pace from my previous experiences... :)
