I Don't flirt. Don't see the point in such petty games.

I second this.

Flirting just feels fake to me. If I like a girl I'll show interest by just being myself, not putting on some facade to make her like someone that isn't me.

Oh, and just to avoid confusion:

flirt

–verb (used without object) 1. to court triflingly or act amorously without serious intentions; play at love; coquet.

I believe the word "dishonest" is a good descriptive term for that sort of thing.

Mmokay.... Here's what I got:

Flirt
2. [Cf. LG. flirtje, G. flirtchen. See Flirt, v. t.] One
who flirts; esp., a woman who acts with giddiness, or
plays at courtship; a coquette; a pert girl.

Pert
2. Lively; brisk; sprightly; smart. [Obs.] --Shak.

Sprightly
adj : full of spirit and vitality; "a sprightly young girl"; "a
sprightly dance"

Dance
n 1: an artistic form of nonverbal communication

It allllll boils down to the dance. But yes, why yes I do. *fans herself while sipping a mojito and playing paintball*

I don't think I flirt. However, I have a very playful personality.

See, that's where I am at! I'm a big ball of playful fun; that's just me! I like to play! But I've never considered that to be flirting! Though, to be honest, I don't even know what folks'd consider to be flirting; what exactly is flirting??

I flirt with any pretty face. My theory several fold:

1) You show interest
2) It is funny
3) I like to do anything to break ice
4) If you are cold, yet sneak glances, you gain wierdo status.

I don't think Jesus meant this is adultery. I don't honestly want to have sex with them there. I'm just happy and playful with opposite sex. I don't have a wife, so I should show interest in everyone who is pretty. Maybe someone will talk to me.

Do you flirt, what are some of your flirt moves?
I'll reveal mine later if this thread goes well.

Okay, mind if I ask this? If you saw a girl who boldly flirted with every bloke she came across, would you want that woman to be the mother of your kids and teach your daughters about purity and innocency? Would you trust her enough to believe that she would never continue in that manner once you married her?

I really want to be called sprightly now.

Sure do what you want, if you have the looks for it.
Sometimes pointless flirting is more enjoyable than something that has more of a point. See each other once, then never again.

I don't flirt because flirting, in my opinion, is a means used to draw attention to oneself instead of to Christ. I also don't want to disrespect whoever my future husband is by "playing games" with other people. I think I'm a friendly person, but my friendliness is never to be confused with flirting. I just don't see the point personally.

No. I imagine trying to flirt with every handsome man I saw would soon get tiring and maybe convince anyone who was interested in me that I really didn't have such a great character.

I recently ran into that problem, totally unintentionally.

I began flirting with a girl I was very interested in. Things were going good.

Then a old friend was having a bad day, she is a wonderful person, so I wrote her and encouraged her, saying nice things about her.

The girl I was interested in got mad, and quit talking to me.

...so, I am at the point now, where I am leaning to believe that the person I was interested in was actually very shallow, because I explained to her how my friend is an old friend, and hey, I will NOT throw my friend under the bus, she is a great person and deserved the compliments she got from me. And to clarify, the only things I said about her appearance is, 'and you are beautiful too.'

But still, I could definitely see how one could think I was flirting, and it did call my character into question. Too bad I was executed without a trial...
