Do you feel older?

Is your body showing the signs of age yet? Sometimes I think I do but then again, I also am under a lot more stress and have less time. When I was young, I might stay up all night but then I could rest the next day. Now, as a mom, there are no rest days. I also have a job (hair stylist) where I dont really get paid unless I show up (no tips). I wonder how much of "feeling older" is more to do with having an adults's lifestyle.

People generally take me for younger than I am, even though I think I look like 32 (whatever that means ). I don't really feel physically older, but part of that is because only in recent years have I received diagnosis and treatment for an illness which caused fatigue, weight, gain, and other good old-making stuff. So I feel pretty good.

Sometimes I feel old when I realize that it's been ten years since I graduated from college or when I see how young teenagers really are. I'm also dating a 26-year-old, which at first made me a little age-conscious. I've pretty much ditched that concern, though.

I dunno. How are we *supposed* to feel in our 30s?

I do have difficulty staying up past midnight and I don't think I could cope going out to an all night club or party these days lol. I know I'm only 31 and not 'old' yet but my knees do actually hurt after sitting with them bent, which I always have done, crossed legged on the floor or bending down gardening or to pray and I find when I get up straight, they really hurt and ache, so I guess that could be a change in my body due to age.

YES!!! I find that I worry now about things I never thought about before...slipping on ice, climbing a ladder when no one is around etc....maybe I'm just paranoid!!??

I definately feel older, but I can't say how old I feel. "Old" is what I think when I look in the mirror and see gray hair starting to sprout up. I am getting arthritis also, have been feeling it off and on for a few years now. I have a 20 yr old son and twins that are seniors in high school so that contributes to me feeling old. That, the arthritis, and when I look at the high school kids, they look so young to me.
My thoughts are obviously on different things as well, such as health and my children learning right from wrong and good from evil. My husband is 38 also, but he has had 2 heart attacks, so I worry about his health and sometimes I wonder how long I will have him. He is a wonderful husband.
I do like to dress young though. I don't color my hair, but I like to wear make up and dress nicely.
Anyone have any feeling young tips?

No, I feel young and I hope I look young too. Most people cannot believe i'm in my thirties when i tell them. they usually guess me to be in my mid twenties. I guess God just blessed me. That sounded conceited. Sorry. I'm happy w/my looks, let's just say that.

Well, I must be honest in admitting I have a weight problem which I know contributes, but yes, I do feel older. Some weekends, I am totally happy at home with DH, which I would NEVER do. Some nights I actually get sleepy and go to bed at like 11pm-...which never happened before...

I think I look older, but I don't feel it. Physically, I'm just as capable as I ever was. I can still function on 4 or 5 hours of sleep at night, and have the same tendency to be a night owl. No age-related aches or pains yet. Hopped on my bicycle last Saturday, and rode 30 miles. Felt great.

I walked three miles this evening, and that's pretty good for me.

I've got grey hairs that I'll have to start dyeing soon.
But other than that I still look 24! And I feel it too!

Thats the bad thing about exercise, it lets you know how old you really are.

I'm at the end of my thirties. I feel older and I think I look older. With four kids, I'm often on the back burner and there's never much time for me I'm lucky I get clothes on my body, who has time to care if they match. And my hair, I'm happy to get a brush through it. I use to spend so much time coordinating my outfits and curling my hair just right. And I'd never leave the house without make-up. Now, there's no make-up going on unless we're invited to a wedding. lol.

I will say, I don't feel too bad, cause I've seen people I graduated with, and they look older then me - hahaha

I am going to be thirty this November and i don't feel old at all.
Spiritually and physically i feel like in my mid twenties. Sure i don't have much time for myself to go out and have fun as i used to when i wasn't married but i don't regret staying home and take care of my kids.
