Do you feel old? I don't mean physically. I'm 32, and there are times when I feel like I've lived much longer than that. There are times when I feel like I've already lived 100 years, at least. Is it possible that this could be from my soul/spirit, maybe having lived lifetimes before this one? They cut out some of where Jesus talked about past lives and perfecting oneself. So does anyone else ever actually feel old? Sometimes I feel very very old. Like I'm much older than most, if not all of the people I know.

The main thing is to grasp by faith Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, the first and the last (Revelation 1).

From there, a sense of time perspective will surely flow! :)

Actually, I have the opposite problem. Im 33 and sometimes still feel like I'm 21. I guess either I was really mature at 21, or really immature at 33.

I started feeling old the first time I heard somebody on television say, "There are still people around who remember the winter of 1963." I mean, I know it was more than 50 years ago, but I am not ready for the Guinness Book of Records, as the world's oldest lived person, just yet awhile.

I'm more likely to feel surprised by how old I am. Apparently I'm an adult... what?

My parents married when they were 21, and I'm now 23, and it's doubtful I'll marry any time soon. I see people roughly my age on facebook having kids, marrying, moving in with their partner. I definitely don't feel old enough for children... it wasn't that long ago I was a child myself. :D

I spent most of my twenties getting used to not being a teenager.

I'm 35 and I've been climbing, trimming, dragging, chipping, and hauling the remains of trees for about 13 years... Oh yeah not to mention a constant pulling to start chainsaws and holding them out single handed at arms length. The joints are complaining a whole lot more than when I was 25!

Somebody asked me If I still felt like a spring chicken; I told them "More like summer chicken, sometimes huli huli chicken (Hawaiian for rotisserie chicken). ^_^

And when I think of hemming and hawing like and "old man" I remember that my boss, the guy who trained me, hired me to replace himself climbing trees and doing everything I'm doing at 69 God blessed years old!

So I might felt old at times, but as soon as such sentiments threaten to break into verbal expression, I promptly shut up! ;)

Other than that I am a paradox of experience: I revel in childlike wonder and a full sense of adventure and future possibility, learning new things each day....and I feel like I've been here since it all started!

At the end of the day, all I need is gratitude, and that keeps me forever young!

I felt old when I was 11. Teachers told me I seemed old. Now that I'm ahem-cough-sputter older, I feel the same age as then.

The generation ahead of me is already naturally dying, and I still feel the same age I did my entire adult life. As though when I hit adolescence, I flipped into a plane of constant existence. Got my soul wings, or whatever.
Getting old is very different than I expected.
Is it possible that this could be from my soul/spirit
I think what we're sensing is that our spirits are eternal, and so much more than our bodies' limitations. When I talk with people, I often sense their spirits more strongly than their personalities. Hard to describe, but it's a more in-touch perception of them.

This perception makes me less inclined to consider previous lives, because I see the soul as going beyond the linear earthly life, continuing in a less-linear plane of existence.

Value in one life, one existence, one soul.
