Then I am the second. I have been with my girlfriend for over a year and have never wanted to be away from her. Sure we have argued but never yelled or gotten mad at each other. At the worst I'd say we were annoyed, dissapointed or upset. I have never gotten to the point when I wanted space and I hope I never do.

Honestly, start living with them 24/7 for more than just a day or two, or even month or two, and you find free time to yourself is GREAT!

In the past year, (except for 3 month stint away in Tanzania) I have seen him nearly everyday after work or school. That meant I had little time by myself, and little time to just do housework etc.
I'm loving these few weeks that are by myself!

Yeah, you're probably right. I may enjoy alone time a bit more when I have less of it. As for now I don't feel that I need it.

That is true. Right now I'm sitting in our living room (we are sort of living together... All his gear is here, but he lives in another town til we are married) and listening to music, and I love it... I'm exhausted and can't wait to be married, but once we are married, I ain't fooling myself to us needing time alone either.

Well, for the 4 months we have been dating, half the time we have been separated, though we have known each other going on 2 yrs, so if anything; because we are having to work around the distance, it has strengthened our relationship.

You CAN make a long distance relationship work, it just takes effort.
