  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Do you do everything your couples devotionals suggest?

Do you ignore the parts where you should take care of her and protect her too?

Biblical marriage is a difficult thing for modern couples. My wife struggles with it too so we ignore her responsibility, but she insists that I fulfill mine. That is the paradox of feminism.

Or do you omit parts you don't agree with. My wife won't agree to the parts insisting she be submissive, and I completely support her. But I was wondering if this was typical.
If your wife "won't agree" ask her who is the Lord of her life? Ask her if she is truly saved? And if you "completely support her" ask yourself if you truly believe God.

"Typical" does not mean anything. "Obedient" means everything. Christians have two choices: (1) believe God and obey Him or (2) believe the devil and ignore Scripture to your own peril and detriment.
