  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Do you cry when you Sing a song?

Most definitely I do at times......especially when they play "Holy Spirit Rain Down" in church!

There's nothing wrong with it.......just shows that you have feelings.

Words in songs can be very powerful.......depending what your thoughts are at the time......tears are natural. :)

Another example: Whenever I hear a song playing that I had sang to my children when they were little - it always touches my heart. :o

"Children grow up all too fast.* :sigh:

*lost has empty-nest syndrome* LOL :p

No. I shake really badly and after the song I have to go outside and calm myself down.

At Ministry Explosion Camp last summer we did a Concert Of Prayer and we prayed for like 3 hours to ready ourselves to go into the city and minister to kids there. I cried.

Oh yes! Mostly when I am home though and listening to music such as Mercy Me "I can only imagine" and "heart of worship" and really deep meaning songs. BUt like I said it is mostly at home, I really wish i could do that at church.

 Yeah, I don't cry all the time but I do sometimes. If there is a song that reminds me of something or someone lost or something like that I do... or just if the Spirit has come over me and overwhelmed me...then I do sometimes... it really just depends. But it's ok to cry...nothing wrong with that at all... different people are touched in different ways...just keep Praising the Lord!!
