Yes, Jesus has us caring about any and all people. Jesus died on the cross for all people . . . but because all need to be reconciled to God.Not all worship the one true God. That being said, this does not stop me from caring about them as our fellow human beings . Be blessed.
. I disagree , we understand a lot about how Nature works. What we don’t understand well is how to control it or how to live so that we don’t cause too much damageScience reports its current understanding of what Nature says about itself. That is not a permanent position and science will admit that. So the scientific fact is actually today's scientific fact which could change in the future. Fact is only a temporary fact. It is not necessarily truth. I don't think 2020 is the pinnacle of fact or truth. It's just where we are at today. I'm more comfortable with truth that flies in the face of fact. God says his creation is not subject to our understanding or approval. And how it reveals itself to us is entirely dependent upon the platforms we choose to view it from.
. That’s doesn’t mean I have to accept toxic behavior or outright lies just because some others believe them . That’s really fooling yourselfYes, Jesus has us caring about any and all people. Jesus died on the cross for all people . . . but because all need to be reconciled to God.
And now I need however God Himself evaluates me, better than I can examine myself. And He is able to correct me so I am the way He really wants.
So, if we think we are the judges of God - - - and who He is . . . what matters is how He is, and if He is changing us to share with Him in His love and how His love has us becoming. Or else, any of us can fail to know who is really God . . . not experiencing how He is, in His love >
"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Romans 5:5)
"Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world." (1 John 4:17)
Yes, there are ones who have made themselves the dictators of how God has to be, and what is His word, and have self-dictated what is evidence or not. But God understands His word better. We can make up how we understand something, then judge it according to how we imperfectly understand.
Only God is able to truly correct us > Hebrews 12:4-14 > so we get anything right
(spoken through a guy who is not perfect!!)
@Brightmoon > I would say that every moment I need to be trusting God to do what He knows He really wants to do with me, then. So, if I am creating some version of the Bible or religion, which I can dictate has to be . . . this can be me working the miracle of fooling my own self and not even knowing I am fooling myself.
And that statement works both ways.. That’s doesn’t mean I have to accept toxic behavior or outright lies just because some others believe them . That’s really fooling yourself
I will not try to sway you out of your truths. So don't sway me out of mine. I am comfortable and biblical in my conservative white male patriarchy.. I disagree , we understand a lot about how Nature works. What we don’t understand well is how to control it or how to live so that we don’t cause too much damage

Creationists never seem to get it that scientists only report what Nature ( God’s Creation) says about itself.

Now this is just one edit that’s pretty well known . There are others
But there is the toxic stuff of saying wrong people do not need to be forgiven by Jesus on the cross!! This is discriminatory, against how needy ones need to be forgiven and changed by God. This is declaring that God is unable to change us out of our wrong stuff. That’s doesn’t mean I have to accept toxic behavior or outright lies just because some others believe them .

"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.'" (John 14:6)Jesus is the way the truth and the life. No one goes to heaven without Him.
I don't assume my religion is the right one. I feel that I would be narrow minded if I did. What do you think?
I don't know how any Christian can read scripture and reach that conclusion. Jesus says no one comes through the father except through me. That is exclusive, through Jesus alone. That means Jews, Muslims, etc. are not saved, are not on the right path and are headed to Hell. That isn't my own arrogance, that's straight from Jesus. What is the point of the Great Commission if all religious faiths are equal and lead people to God and Heaven?Imo, all religions are so closely alike that I don't care. I don't assume my religion is the right one. I feel that I would be narrow minded if I did. What do you think?
