Do you believe this?
If the Son shall set you free, then you shall be really be free (John 8.32). Do you believe this? Do you really believe that your are really free? Have you become discouraged due to failure? Jesus set us free to be free (Galatians 5.1)
We were insolvent, and placed on the auction block to be sold as a slave. Time and time again we was bought and sold, beat-up and broken down, tattered and torn, downtrodden and disowned, weary and worn. Until the Prince came to us and gave all he had to pay more than equivalent and give up all our debts cancelled. We were set free. Not only emancipated as slaves, but also adopted as children. Unlike a slave, children live in the Fathers house forever. (Galatians 2.4, Henry 18??)We are free from all curse and condemnation, free from prejudices, false notions, and lies. The accuser and adversary can not defeat the truth, through the Truth we have been set free and shall be set free as the Spirit leads us into all truth. No longer do we have the obligation of moral perfection, to obey every last tittle of the Law. For the law is being written on our hearts; and our minds are becoming enlightened and enlarged. The righteous man falls down sevens times and rises up again, and though we fall, His love does not fail. We are not to live under perfection, but under grace, for his glory, and our freedom. So let us not choose bondage that comes through moral perfection, but grace that brings life to its fullest. For Jesus came that we may have life and have it to the full.
