Many have received a real touch of God in Divine Healing. The LORD says,"I am the Lord that heals you!'
So true, I've often prayed for God's intervention and wondered why it didn't come, then realised that help had been provided, just in a rather tangential way. God obviously knows me better than I know myself.. but then, I'd been told that many times before. The Scripture says, "Be anxious for Nothing. Everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, make your requests to God, and the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).
This includes prayer for healing when we need it. Whether God grants the request or not, the outcome is a complete rest in the peace of God which passes all understanding and will keep our hearts and minds in faith and trust in Christ no matter what happens.
I agree Inquiring.. it CAN. But I have a caveat on that and that is that a Doctor's advice should never undermine your sovereign belief in God. I'll place my welfare in Gods hands before I do an overzealous Med student!I don't think Divine Healing is limited... it can come through doctors or other professional help.
I used to be one who believed that God had to answer my prayers for healing otherwise my prayer was not good enough, or there was something wrong with me, ie: I didn't have enough faith in my prayers. So true, I've often prayed for God's intervention and wondered why it didn't come, then realised that help had been provided, just in a rather tangential way. God obviously knows me better than I know myself.. but then, I'd been told that many times before.
Quite right. It can come through any way that God chooses. Trusting the Lord to do it His way, even though it may not the way we want, is the way to peace of heart and mind in any situation.I don't think Divine Healing is limited... it can come through doctors or other professional help.
Profound my good friend.. God bless you topher!I have been divinely healed, I've seen divine healing, and I've prayed for those who God has divinely healed. So, yes.
As others have said God will do it His way and in His timing, but He is the same yesterday, today and forever. So, if He healed before, He heals now and He will heal in the future.
