And you base this on what?
Exactly as worded is all that I am saying!!! The power of the Holy Spirit--the CHILD WILL BE HOLY--speculation is what has brought about the doctrines followed!!
Ave redemptor, Domine Jesus:
Cuius ob opus
Superatur mors, enim salvatio
Nunc inundavit super universam terram.
Sancte redemptor, reputata
Fides est nobis peccatoribus,
Nunc et in morte, ad iustitiam.
Gee, if it was what you were saying then why didn't you say so? You wrote a long post explaining eggs and sperm and stuff, none of which is in the scriptures. It was all speculating. But if you didn't mean any of that stuff, great! I am glad you've accepted the Catholic perspective.
Quidquid latine dictum, altum videtur.
Lol, you can't blame me for being curious. These are definitely going to be the type of questions I am going to ask when I die.

Do you see these biblical women as your spiritual mothers?
what would be the value of their 'motherhood' without the motherhood of the Virgin Mary ?
(these women are also commemorated)
Their spiritual motherhood is not dependant upon Mary, but only on God. The LORD considers those women I mentioned earlier, part of His holy family because they chose to obey Him, thus Jesus is not afraid to call them His mothers.
yup, they are spiritual mothers (and sisters etc., as relationship is through God), but this skips the question ...
what would be the value of their spiritual motherhood to you without the motherhood of the Virgin Mary to Jesus ?
I have already answered your question.
Their spiritual motherhood is not dependant upon Mary, but only on God.
The answer seemed to "answer" without considering the fulness of the question (becoming thus not an answer per se, but a reiteration of your previous statement).
So to re-ask with a clarification:
It was God's will for Mary to have an essential, once-in-all-eternity active role in His plan, His will, for mankind's salvation - the Incarnation.
What would the value be to you of all the spiritual mothers, brothers, and sisters without the Incarnation of Jesus Christ ?
It was also God's will for Sara and Ruth etc to have essential, once in all eternity roles in His plan for the redemption of mankind- the Incarnation.
Which lineage is the Christ descended from? Is He not a great grandchild of those 2 women I mentioned above?
So, let me ask you this, what value would Mary's motherhood be without Sarah's motherhood to Isaac?
