Sounds like Ghosts are really demons to me.. or am i reading to much into this?

This verse tells us to not be empty of God's Spirit. I don't think it refers to ghosts, but demonic activity is real (if there is a difference). However, "greater is He that is in you than he that is in theworld" (1John 4:4). If the house is occupied by Jesus, there will be no place for devils.

But this talks about a spirit that comes out of a person wanders around.. returns to the place it is cast out of returning with 7 bigger badder buddies and yea they do thier thing.

I dont see a connection.

connection? If that person who had the demon in him turned to Christ then his "house" would not be unoccupied so the demon could not return with his mates. And if you are filled with Christ to start with then you wont have to worry about the demon being in you to start with, nor the need to have it cast out, only to then have 8 spirits enter you again(unless u turned to Christ then)

make sense? i dont know if its right, but its how i took it just now.

I also agree that Ghosts are actually demons/bad spirits/fallen angels

You got it correct Middo, If we call Jesus into our life, but do no "stay with it" IE Put him in our house, the demons will come back even stronger.

There is a phyla of Angels called Carrions who's sole purpose is to grab dark entities (evil) spirits when the person that had it dies. There really isn't anything to fear about evil spirits roaming the earth in spirit form. God doesn't allow that.

"Arid places" compare with "well watered", As Yeshua tells us in Luke 7, He that believes in me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly ( center of his being) shall flow rivers of living water."

If you are full of the living waters then you are certainly not an arid ( extremely dry) place.

What I get from this is that if a demon is cast out by the authority given in Yeshua's( Jesus) name it must go. However if that person does not seek the L-rd and believe in him that same spirit can return and this time has more power.

Cleaned of the evil spirits and ready for occupancy of the Ruach HaKodesh ( Hoy Spirit of G-d ) but finds that He has not been invited to live there so the evil spirit ( fallen angel) gets others to join him because he knows that the oppurtunity is great because that person has rejected the L-rd even after experiencing His power.

This can be very risky.

They can pretend to be someone that has passed on because they have watched them during their lifetime (the human's) and know everything about them and can fool even the closest family member or friend, but they are asleep awaiting the resurection.

no, not necessarily, but we can be. Anyone who doesnt have the holy spirit within them can have a demon live in them, its not something that must happen, but that can, and its not something you want. All this verse is saying is if you have Jesus in your heart by the holy spirit you are fine, if not then you could be in trouble.

Is the dictionary where you check all your religious facts? It wouldn't be my first choice.

There are 9 phyla of angels. Carrions are one of them. Shakespeare may have created the meaning that you've seen in your dictionary when he spoke of Carrions in his play, Julius Ceasar. But, it was I'm sure dramatic license on his part. Although if you look at what I said earlier compared to what your dictionary says, you can loosely make a connection. Their purpose is in dealing with the death of those who've turned away from God...or "evil" for lack of a better term. So that those "evil" souls do not roam the earth after death.

Where do you get your information? From a book on witchcraft? From dungeons and dragons? Was it 'revealed' to you and you alone personally in the privacy of your own home? Twosid, I'm sorry that I forgot to answer you when you asked earlier, I've been sick with the flu and I guess I forgot. I'm also sorry that you got offended by my teasing you about your choice of the dictionary as a good place to check God's word. I've been on the other end of saying something that made more knowledgable theologians scoff myself. It's a learning process. I really thought you could handle it or I wouldn't have teased you.

But, do you really expect me to answer you after the abusive way you just spoke to me? Sorry, that would be rewarding bad behavior. Rephrase your question or you can forget about getting an anwer from me now. I know this is going to offend you even more than what I said earlier which offended you without my intention. But, When my children used to throw temper tantrums when I said "No" to them when they were 2 or 3 years old. I didn't give them what they wanted after their emotional outbursts either.
