Do we know any happy poems?

I've been looking at the poems we've posted and they are all gloomy and sad.

Don't Christians have enough joy in our lives to write happy, upbeat poems? If unsaved people read our stuff, would they think Christianity is a downer?

haha there are happy poems....but I do agree that there are a lot of depressing ones...I don't know at least for me the happy ones are about God and my faith and the sad ones are about worldly things... ha I have my share of both but I find that when I write the most is when I can't express myself verbally and it normally isn't the case when I'm happy...... haha it's wierd to explain want some happy ones I've posted some but be carefull there are some depressing ones too ;-)

“Happy chap”

I once saw a happy chap,
as glad as he could be,
cus he’d just gotten paid,
and his lady he was going to see.

A hand full of roses,
a pocket full of candy,
he danced a funny dance,
while singing his melody,

excited to see his gal,
glad to almost be home,
he approached the nice house,
and his hair he began to comb.

He came to the door,
and walked right inside,
went straight to his room,
and opened the box he’d always hide.

He pulled out a picture,
and looked at his pretty lady,
put her roses in his window,
he knew shed be his one-day.

well its kind of funny anyway hehe.
