Don't complicate it all one has to do is what the word says
Rom 10:9-10
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
KJV
Romans 8:21-26 also clearly states that we are justified by faith, apart from the law.
But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of His bloodto be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance He had left the sins committed beforehand unpunishedHe did it to demonstrate His righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus." (emphasis added)
In my previous post, I also posted other Scriptures teaching that we are justified by faith, not by the law.
What was written on stone, that was set aside, not permanent?
The 10!
7 Now if the ministry of death, carved in letters on stone, came with such glory that the Israelites could not gaze at Moses' face because of its glory, which was being brought to an end, 8 will not the ministry of the Spirit have even more glory? 9 For if there was glory in the ministry of condemnation, the ministry of righteousness must far exceed it in glory. 10 Indeed, in this case, what once had glory has come to have no glory at all, because of the glory that surpasses it. 11 For if what was being brought to an end came with glory, much more will what is permanent have glory.
If so, please show scripture. Thanks
Amen Frogster! Scripture does teach that we are not under the law, but under the grace of God.
Romans 6:14 - "For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace."
John 1:17 - "For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ."
Romans 8:3-4 - "For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so He condemned sin in sinful man, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit."

Yes.
Revelation 22:15 NASB Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the immoral persons and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices lying.
You do not try and keep the commandments to be saved, you do it because you are.

RibI,
There have been many Scriptures cited in previous posts that teach we are justified by faith, not by the law.
I know Frogster and several others have also cited Scripture about justification by faith, not by works.
I have posted quite a few in my post here and in another post I cited Romans 8: 21-26.
"But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.
