Do one thing now!

So, I just read some of the "How are you feeling" Thread. I can relate because I just came out of a 2 week long EXTREME depression. One day, everything just shifted. It's not like I am 100% better, but the hard part of not being able to do anything is gone, for now.

So, do you feel like I did: not caring about doing anything? I challenge you to do one nice thing for yourself, for someone else....

Listen to some music you like, write a list of everything you really want to do, and then do one or start one of those things.

I heard a song with a fiddle today, just the sound made me so happy. I thought, what if I could just play that sound? So I contacted someone about a cheap violin online. (they haven't contacted me back Or maybe you want to learn a language? Anything, big or small......

I hope I can help some people out there. I know what it's like, wanting to die, etc. My biggest problem is understanding that I am loved. When someone says, "I love you", I want to believe it, that I am lovable.

This is the Truth! You and I ARE lovable. Jesus, please give us this revelation, and help us to stand on Truth. Let us be changed by Your love.

Jesus, I pray that you would give hope, meaning, and purpose to many people reading this right now. Show them how valuable they are to You, as a person, and to those who need them.

This may sound weird....but....

If you are truly interested in a violin. Are you in the states?

My Grandpa was a violin collecter. He went all over the state here in Nebraska, and some other states buying up violins at garage sales, online, music shops etc.

At the end he had I think 210 violins. Some pretty expensive, but a lot of them are just "remade" violins. I forget the correct term for it. It was his hobby. He passed away a couple years ago, so we have been selling some of his violins, giving away others to places like schools and such. There's still quite a few left. He was a really cool guy, always loaning them out to kids who needed a violin to practice on or play with. At one point, I think he had like 75 violins loaned out to various kids / music groups.

If you were really interested in playing a violin.....and if I was given permission to do so. My parents have the rights to them, I dont own them. But perhaps we could find a decent quality / cheaper violin for you. I'm not sure how much the ones you are looking at cost.

But anyway, I'm just randomly throwing this out there. If that would help you with your depression, I'd be willing to see if we could set something up.

I was having a rough weekend... feeling down in the dumps.

Tonight at work, I had the opportunity to share my faith with a customer. We had a nice little conversation about man's fallen nature, the end times, and what Christ did for us all.

Turned my night around immediately.

Let me tell you, if you're feeling like crap and the opportunity to share Christ with someone, anyone, presents itself...

Don't hesitate.

Go for it.
