What if you're just dating an unbeliever? Does the bible say that that is a sin?

that's is not a sin to date with an unbeliever......
why god disallow us to do that is all because HE worry, we might have a distance with HIM after we date with an unbeliever as your date will not guide you to walk through the path of christ.

No it's not a sin to date an unbeliever...though I don't think it's a sin to marry one either. However, if you don't wish to marry an unbeliever then why date one? If your dating is to find someone you want to marry and get the relationship to a healthy place before marriage then why date someone you wouldn't marry.

I generally consider that to fall in the same category as marrying one. Why date one if you're not going marry one? You do want to marry him. However, there are a lot of problems with these relationships, I've learned from friends' mistakes that dating an unbeliever is a very bad move. It can be bad for your faith, it can suffocate their approaching God, and if you break up, they can associate the breakup with God - not a good thing. For example, there have been many cases where a Christian dates an unbeliever, the unbeliever comes to the Lord, and guess what the Christian does? She dumps him. Way to treat a new brother in Christ.

there is always a chance with you and unbeliever. maybe god is trying to work inbetween both of you. and it may have the chance where he come to know god.

if after he breakup with you they also breakup with god and i think he is not really a believer.
what i saw in my real life is, once they have accept god as thier savior. they will also thank you for bringing them to god after you have break off with him.

but we as a christian, that's not good for us to play in our date... if you don't want to marry him so better dun be his gf. you must have your own commiment with 2 of you have become couple. i don't know whether it is written in bible or not about 'date'. for my own point is, there is no different between husband and wife and gf and bf. once he is my bf, i will just treat him as what a wife should do... ( but, hey no sex until the day you get marry)
