Do males like receiving Flowers?

For the average guy, a card with something sweet written in it is probably better than flowers.

If you want something to go with the card, a balloon might be safer than flowers, but chances are the card is enough.

The reason why I ask is because I like a guy, but I can tell that he's not happy much. I would like to send him flowers so when he sees them he WILL smile. Any ideas or think this is a DUMB idea? Be honest even its mean I'll accept honestly

Potted plants are okay. loose flowers like long stem roses or bouquets are a bit weird.

Oh no balloons for me thanks. Flowers look nicer and their wilting is just a natural part of life, watching balloons slowly sag and deflate is depressing.
