I'm not well-learned in this particular area and can only grasp at it but I've become increasingly interested in the subject just recently.
Honestly, I find it hard to believe Jews are forsaken by God and going to Hell. Galatians 3:23-24 says:
"Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith."
My personal belief is that Jews will also be redeemed but it will happen later on; the truth will be revealed to them and the scales will fall from their eyes -maybe not in this life but at an appointed time. I have no Biblical back-up at this point but that is how I understand the question is answered.
I'm really not sure about this (feel free to correct me) but isn't Judaism a pretty shut-up (for the lack of better word) religion? Is there any command in the OT prompting the Jews to share their beliefs? That's not a rhetorical question because I really don't know for sure but can't think of one verse.
So, if Jews were God's family, considering how many were falling out of faith, wouldn't the whole religion have died eventually? In the NT, however, there's a clear command for Christians to take the message to the whole world; God gathers His lost people and the family has the ability to grow.
I might be way off with this but I just can't get myself to believe a Jew is a lost case. I don't know, somehow it makes me so sad we'd liken Jews to the ungodly. I'll be praying for further understanding
