So I am wondering if I decided to go to church, do I have to share my struggles with them?

Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

Then with whom, if not those with whom you gather in His Name, can you share your struggles?
(I'm assuming TS means struggling with things relevant to the Faith).

With whom? The whole church - I would think not. A few mature believers who can help you and are able to truly care about you? You should share with them; part of the purpose of the church is to build one another up and share each others burdens.
In practice it can be hard. Both because we are human and deal with pride and because those we talk to are human and fail sometimes themselves. But if you find the right people it can be very beneficial.

Can you ever know who are the right people? All things, take to God. And be patient. If God don't fix it immediately, don't despair, be patient. As far as understanding scripture, don't worry about that either. The Holy Spirit will reveal the truth of Gods word to you in due time. And it will be the truth. You will have one of those ahh-haa moments and know it is the truth.

Depending on how personal the struggles are, you should be wise about who you share them with. Ideally, you'd get to know the people first by interacting with them and then, over time discern who you believe to be reliable counselors.

I am talking about the church.
As for your question why would I. I don't know. Maybe because I feel like I am being fake when I don't share. But I think I would just be discreet on whom I am sharing with.
