Thanks!

Infusion can work a couple ways; the water can be poured from cupped hands, from a seashell, or even from a pitcher. Aspersion is accomplished by sprinkling water on the candidate by means of an instrument called an aspergillum, which is a small hollow receptacle with holes drilled into it, sort of like a big salt shaker with a handle, or by means of a small hyssop branch, or even by means of shaking water from the tips of the fingers.
Aspersion is usually is not done unless water is very scarce, such as a desert country; or unless the candidate is in some extreme set of circumstances, such as burn victim confined to a bed, who is in danger of dying, and who cannot be exposed to too much water due to his injuries, for example.
